Marmoset Encounter

Our bubbly Common Marmosets are jumping with joy to see you!

Age Requirements: 10 years and older

Please note: We cannot get walkers or wheelchairs into this exhibit. We can offer a chair to sit on if required however you will need to be able to walk up and down a few steps or step over two small steps to get into this exhibit. We apologise for any inconvenience.

What’s Included

• 20 minutes interacting with our Marmosets.
• Please contact us to speak to one of our friendly staff members for times and availability.
• A zoo keeper will be there to answer any questions and tell you all about this amazing species.
• Take as many photos as you like on your camera and preserve your special memories to show family and friends.
• Cost: $80 per person.
• Price does not include admission into the zoo.
• Maximum of 2 people per encounter, this can include other people in your group
• Age Requirement: 10 yrs and older (This is for the safety of both children and the animals, we apologise for any inconvenience)
• Please alert staff if you have any cold or flu symptoms as primates are susceptible to these viruses.
• FULLY ENCLOSED FLAT shoes are required

Terms and Conditions

• Hunter Valley Zoo may choose to cancel specific encounters due to sudden change of weather conditions or animal welfare at any time, guests will be notified and dates re-scheduled.
• Payment must be received before any encounter can proceed.
• Participants must arrive 5 minutes before the start of the encounter to avoid the session time being cut short.
• Animals respond in different ways and as such experiences may vary.
• All participants must follow the keepers instructions, failure to do so may result in a shortened session.
• Encounter price does not include admission into the zoo.
• Parents or adult guardians must take responsibility for participating children at all times.
• Photos can only be used for personal purposes. The publication, distribution or reproduction of these photographs for commercial or promotional purposes is prohibited unless prior authorisation is obtained.
